Starting from version 1.2 the game Hellsplit: Arena supports mods. There are several ways to install a mod:

Built-in Mod Manager

This method we regard as preferable. Just go to the Mod Manager location, check the mod library and download those mods you liked more. Mods become available in the game right after the upload. Besides, you have the possibility to link your mod.io account to the game. It is completely unnecessary though it gives you some advantages, e.g. you will be able to automatically get the mods updates or subscribe to the mods in the mod.io library on their official website, after that the mods will automatically upload in the game.

Local installation

If you prefer downloading the mods from other favorite websites, then you can install them manually. Now our game has a page on Nexus Mods and you can download the mods from there:

https://www.nexusmods.com/hellsplitarena

After the download, it is necessary to make a folder called Mods in the general library of the game near the folders Content, Config, etc.

For instance, if your game is installed in the map f:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hellsplit Arena, your Mods path will look like f:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Hellsplit Arena\Hellsplit_Arena\Mods

Extract the zip file into the Mods folder and the mod is ready to be used!

Where can I find the mods in the game?

We have tried to add various content into the game and you can find it in different places.

• Custom campaigns are available in the Campaign section of the main menu
• Training maps are available in the Training menu
• Weapon, armor, cartridges, etc. will be available in the altar in the corresponding categories
• Cars are available in the map Garage as well as in other maps that support Vehicles
