Preparation for the mods publication
In order to successfully prepare your mod for the test release, you will need to prepare a small amount of additional content. We recommend you to do this in advance so that when the new Workbench update is released you can publish your mod almost immediately.
General list of what you need to prepare for mod publishing is given below:
- Name (it doesn't have to match the technical name you used when creating the mod in Hellsplit: Workbench, it should be a human-redable name that will be displayed in the game and the mod.io directory)
- Summary, 10-250 characters - a short description of your mod
- Description, 0-50000 - optional full description of your mod. It will be available in the mod.io directory
- Mod Capsule Image, 16:9 aspect ratio, min 1280x720. Capsule image that will be used to display your mod in the game and mod.io directory
- Optional set of screenshots, 16:9 aspect ratio, min 1280x720
If the actors you created should be available in the altar, you need to prepare the following information for each item:
- Name in the altar
- Altar description (10-250)
- Altar icon, squared, min 256*256
- Preview Mesh for the altar as a StaticMesh asset (Used to preliminarily preview your 3d item in the altar, this can be a mesh you already used when creating the item)
If you are working on a campaign or a map, you need to prepare the following information:
- Name
- Summary, 10-250 characters - a short description of your map or campaign
- Description, 0-50000 - optional full description of your campaign
- Map (Campaign) Capsule Image, 16:9 aspect ratio, min 1280x720. Capsule image
- Optional set of screenshots, 16:9 aspect ratio, min 1280x720. We also recommend you to prepare a set of screenshots for your campaign or map for a more colorful visual presentation in the menu.
